Baylisascaris egg:
Time Lapse animation

Time lapse photography (10 times normal speed) of a Baylisascaris egg that had been "fixed" in 10% Formalin for three months. This demonstrates the fact that Formalin doesn't kill Ascarid eggs.

This egg came from a raccoon, but the same results can sometimes be seen in Ascaris eggs from human samples.
