A Real Breakthrough; New Formula,

What people say makes us excited::

Yes, I DID receive your new formula. Sorry I didn't respond sooner, but I took some time off and went away for a long weekend. I am VERY impressed with the sample you sent.

I have used it about six times now, and I have really experienced great relief...more than any other product that I have tried so far! So, I am very happy to pass that news along to you. And, I am also very happy to have found a product that works.

It seems to work almost immediately. The smell as well as the color is much more pleasant than your last formula, too. Congratulations on a very fine product!! You must be very excited to share this with people.

Sincerely,

Mary Selfridge

Novogen’s cancer drug reverses resistance

25/01/05 By: James Seabrook

Shares in Australian biopharmaceutical company Novogen Limited (NRT) jumped 5% this morning after the group advised its investigational anti-cancer drug, phenoxodiol, reversed chemo-resistance to docetaxel treatment in human ovarian cancer cells. The news came from the group’s London based subsidiary, Marshall Edwards, who also announced that the drug has been granted fast-track status by the US FDA.

Directors of Marshall Edwards said that the FDA fast-track status was granted based in part on tumor measurements from radiographic examinations of women with recurrent ovarian cancer who are participating in an ongoing phase Ib/IIa study.

“Researchers from Yale University School of Medicine used cancer cell lines established from patients who had failed to anti-cancer drugs, including docetaxel. enoxodiol was able to restore sensitivity to docetaxel in these resistant cells,” the board said.

The group also highlighted the synergistic effect of the two treatments when used together, stating that phenoxodiol allowed 1/100th of the amount of docetaxel to be used as effectively as the drug alone on cells previously found to be resistant to it.

Associate professor, Dr Gil Mor of Yale University said that these findings offer two potential clinical outcomes.

“Phenoxodiol could be used to considerably increase the response rate of patients to docetaxel after they have become unresponsive to other standard chemotherapies, or it could lead to a dramatically reduced amount of chemotherapy needed to achieve a clinical response,” he said.

In the second case, Dr Mor said that patients would be less likely to experience the harmful side effects of chemotherapy.

At close yesterday, shares in Novogen were down 11c at $5.04.
