A Real Breakthrough; New Formula,
What people say makes us excited::
Yes, I DID receive your new formula. Sorry I didn't
respond sooner, but I took some time off and went
away for a long weekend.
I am VERY impressed with the sample you sent.
I
have used it about six times now, and I have really
experienced great relief...more than any other product that I have tried so far! So, I am very happy to pass that news along to you. And, I am also very happy to have found a product that works.
It seems to work almost immediately. The smell as well as the color is much more pleasant than your last formula, too.
Congratulations on a very fine product!!
You must be very excited to share this with people.
Sincerely,
Mary Selfridge
Turmeric has anti-malarial properties: scientist:
[India News]: Ahmedabad, Jan 6 : Turmeric contains a compound that has been found to have anti-malarial properties, a scientist said here.
Curcumin has been found to give "some protection" against deadly falciparum parasite in mice, Dr G Padmanabhan, Honorary Professor at the Indian Institute of Science, said at the Indian Science Congress.
The falciparum malaria parasite infects brain of patients and is associated with high mortality in comparison to the vival strain of parasite.
The compound was earlier studied in cells lines, he said adding the good thing about this compound is it does not have any toxicity, Padmanabhan said.
The compound has also been found to make resistant strains of falciparum parasite sensitive to treatment when it is used in combination with chloroquine, he said.
Pointing out that drug resistance was emerging as a major problem in fighting malaria, Padmanabhan said curcumin could also be useful in a combination with artemisin drug, which is being touted as the drug of future for malaria treatment in view of high resitance to chloroquine. PTI
